Welcome to the 2012 Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies' New Venture Seed Competition-prizes this year include multiple cash awards up to $50,000 and free legal and business services from our supporting organizations.

All USC students, faculty and staff are encouraged to apply.

All applicants will have the opportunity to attend workshops where they will be guided to refine their business concept leading to their presentation including presentation slides ("pitch deck") for the preliminary in March.

NO BUSINESS PLAN IS REQUIRED.

Important Dates

Information sessions:
November 15 and January 24

Preliminary: March 6-8

Finals: April 18

Entry deadline will be on Sunday February 5th - midnight. All qualified entrants will get to present in our Preliminary Rounds.

We will have three open coaching sessions on February 7, 15 and 21.

Prize Money:
$15,000 for First
$10,000 for runner-up
Plus 5: $5,000 seed prizes
Total of $50,000
