USC Marshall Trojan Family
December 19, 2013 • by James G. Ellis

As the year draws to a close, we are reminded of how grateful we are for the ongoing support of our faithful USC Marshall Trojan Family. Thank you for the trust you place in us, and for the extraordinary achievements your investment makes possible.

As you finalize year-end financial plans, I am taking this moment to remind you of the game-changing opportunities your support provides. Because of you, we are nearly halfway toward our goal of $400 million, our share of the University’s record-breaking $6 billion campaign. But there is still much important work to do. Please know that every gift, no matter how small, has such a positive impact and takes us one step closer to our goal.

Our campaign will support the following key priorities:

  • Student scholarships provide the resources needed to recruit the best of tomorrow’s global business leaders, regardless of their financial situations;
  • Capital projects enhance the constantly evolving nature of business education and ensure the students and faculty of today and tomorrow will be able to meet the great opportunities that await;
  • Faculty research and teaching support enables us to recruit, retain and support the highest-caliber teacher-scholars in an increasingly competitive arena;
  • Funds designated for student academic programs and priorities provide our students with an incredible range of educational experiences and help us reach our goal of an international academic experience for every Marshall student.

You can support our campaign by selecting the Accounting or Business School buttons on the Give Now link to the right and choosing one or more of the designations.

We also hope you will follow the link below to enjoy a special video produced last month for the happy occasion of the 94th birthday of our friend and benefactor, Gordon Marshall --- a member of the Greatest Generation and an entrepreneur who embodies the qualities so important to the school that bears his name. Gordon continues to inspire us all.

My team and I wish you and yours a healthy and happy new year.

Fight On!
