- Begin with “Biographical Information” from the sidebar on the left-hand side.
- Make sure you click “Save” throughout the application process to prevent from losing information if the application times out and logs you out.
- In “Application Information” for which semester you wish to apply – select “Fall”.
- IMPORTANT: The degree you will be applying to is “Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management (MSGSCM)” - make sure not to confuse this selection with supply chain graduate certificates.
- Application Fee Waiver Selection only applies to the options listed in the dropdown box. If you don’t match any of the options select “Not Applicable.”
- “Financial Aid” Section is optional.
- Under “Academic Background” please fill out your GPA using a 4.0 US Scale. (Please use the GPA converter link as follows if your GPA was not on a US 4.0 Scale or have the official English transcript provider convert the GPA for you http://www.foreigncredits.com/Resources/GPA-Calculator/ ). One official transcript from the registrar of each college or university attended except for USC. If all college or postgraduate work has not been completed, transcripts must be sent again when work in progress is completed and the degree is posted. Transcripts written in languages other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Applicants who completed degrees at institutions outside of the United States who do not provide official transcripts prior to admission must submit documents verifying their degrees through the International Education Research Foundation or World Education Services. Please visit the specific websites of these organizations for details about required documents and fees. Use the USC links above to receive a USC discount.
- The publications list is optional/not required.
- Under “Academic Background,” follow the instructions for Secondary/High School Lookup.
a. Select “Not Found” if your school cannot be located in the system.
b. Make sure you spell out the FULL NAME of the State and Country (e.g. California; United States). - Under “Academic Background” follow the instructions for University/College Lookup and the same rules apply as above for Secondary/High School.
- If you have attended more than one university or college, please continue the same process in the blank fields for additional colleges/universities.
- Make sure at the very end to select Yes or No to indicate whether or not you have attended more than 5 colleges/universities.
- Under “Test Information” GMAT or GRE scores are not required, but are recommended. For International students who did not complete a 4-year bachelor's degree at an American, British, Canadian or Australian college or university, proof of proficiency in English is required for admission. TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores are recommended, but not required. For those who choose to not provide test scores, English language competency will be determined by the program staff during the admissions interview.
- IMPORTANT: Under “Employment Information” make sure you upload your current resume. Your resume will be an important part of the information provided under the "Employment Information" section.
- Under “Employment Information” please enter in as much data as applicable.
- Under “Language Background” your “Native or First Language” is a required field; the rest is optional.
- Under “Additional Questions” the first three questions are required fields; skip the rest.
- Short Answer Essay Questions for the MSGSCM program can be found in the link on the left-hand side of the screen under "Downloadable Forms." Scroll down to "Essays: MS in Global Supply Chain Mgmt. (MSGSCM)." Prepare your responses and on the "Essays & Documents" page please upload your short answers under "Program-Specific Essays" as instructed.
- Under “International Applicants” please follow ALL instructions in detail as applicable.
- Under “Recommendations” please follow instructions by clicking on “Recommendation Provider List” and add 2 separate names. Name and Email are required fields. If you cannot input an address or if your recommender is outside the United States, ignore “Postal Code” and “State.”
- Save and Continue to Submission with the certification of your legal name and date. The application fee is required of anyone who is not a current USC student, USC alum, or USC employee.
