University of Southern California

The Graduate Certificate in Management Studies (G.C.M.S.) is designed to provide those who have completed the equivalent of the first year of an accredited traditional 2-year M.B.A. (see the FAQ page for details) with an opportunity to pursue further studies at the USC Marshall School of Business. The program is also especially valuable for those who completed a one-year M.B.A. program and wish to enhance their knowledge in a specialized area of business.

This program allows students to select from a wide variety of graduate-level courses offered to students in Marshall’s M.B.A. programs. Information about the areas of concentration offered to Marshall graduate students is available at www.marshall.usc.edu/ecg. (Prospective applicants interested in accounting or taxation should apply for admission to the Master of Accounting or the Master of Business Taxation program offered by the Leventhal School of Accounting.)

Classes applicable to the degree are offered during both daytime and evening hours. The degree may be completed on either a full- or part-time basis. International students should expect to complete the program in one semester.
