New Databases:

FactSet - Financial data and market analytics
FactSet is installed on terminals located in the Gaughan & Tiberti Library, the Accounting Library and in the Graduate Lab (JKP). To request a personal virtual FACTSET account, fill in the form at: FactSet will get back to you with instructions on how to access FactSet as well as training videos. J.P. Morgan Research
This database features thousands of analyst/investment reports covering over 3,000 global companies and all industries. Derived from Morgan Markets – which is J.P. Morgan’s exclusive information for key clients and investors – these reports are made available to academic users for education and research purposes. Coverage is 2011 to current with a one week embargo.

SNL Unlimited
SNL Kagan provides financial data, analytics, research reports and other information on media and communications companies including wire-line, wireless, cable, satellite, broadcasting, content, distribution, publishing, advertising, and new media. New users are required to create an individual user account using their USC email address. Works best with Chrome and IE; does not work with Firefox. Provided by S&P Global.

Statista is one of the first statistic portals in the world to integrate data on over 80,000 topics from over 18,000 sources onto a single professional platform and provide companies, business customers, research institutions, and the academic community with direct access to quantitative data on media, business, finance, politics, and a wide variety of other areas of interest or markets.

New Names/New Interfaces:

SimplyAnalytics (formerly SimplyMap)
This database from Geographic Research, Inc. enables non-technical users to quickly create thematic maps, reports, ring studies and location analyses using extensive demographic, social, business and marketing data from many sources including the US Census, Experian Simmons and more. Access to the database is limited to 10 concurrent users.

Standard & Poor’s Net Advantage
A comprehensive source of business and investment information, offering on-line access to Standard & Poor's independent research, data and commentary on stocks, bonds, funds, and industries. Content includes detailed stock reports, company profiles, bond reports, corporation records, mutual fund reports, security dealers directory and industry surveys.
