Gaughan & Tiberti Library

The Gaughan & Tiberti Library and Accounting welcomes you to Marshall and the Fall 2020 semester.

Though we are not able to greet you personally, we are very excited to be working with you this semester. We will be posting news and events on this page, as well as our MyMarshall Library site.  We are happy to help you find the information you need, or develop a strategy to find the information that may be more difficult to locate.

Databases and access: We have around 80 databases listed on our Electronic Resources A-Z that will assist you with your research and analysis. We also have that same list, plus more information on our MyMarshall Library site.  We have databases with company and financial information, industry reports and market research, economic data and reports as well databases that cover thousands of journals and newspapers.

There are some special databases that require the user to create an account, these include Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, and Pitchbook. You will find instructions on how to sign up for accounts to these databases on the MyMarshall Library site.  Please note that Bloomberg, and PitchBook are limited to current students, faculty and staff.

You can contact us by e-mail (or see below) and we can join you on Zoom or Microsoft Teams and we can speak to you or your teams about your research needs, or just a question you may have. We can also demonstrate databases, or send you instructions, whatever is best for you. We know many of you may not be in our time zone, and we will do our best to accommodate you. We are here to support you.

The USC Libraries has an additional 1800 databases, but also books, videos/films, directories and we are purchasing more and more e-books for easier access (sorry, no textbooks). The USC Libraries can assist you with getting articles from sources we do not have. We can help direct you or inform you about these services in more detail.

We wish you a very successful semester!

Fight on!
