Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management

The MS in GSCM Program focuses on topics like strategic procurement, outsourcing, logistics and distribution, the role of information technology in managing global supply chains and how these impact the process of developing new products. In addition, we aim to provide the students with a framework that integrates different topics and an understanding of the trade-offs and relationships between these topics. Students take a total of 30 units over 18 months or 4 semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer, Fall). On-campus students take 19.5 units of required coursework and select 10.5 units of electives, while online students take 22.5 required units and choose 7.5 units of electives. Please find below sample course schedules for the online and on-campus programs. The courses listed and the time when they are taken may change from year to year.

Sample On-Campus Curriculum

 

On-campus students may choose from one of two options for spreading out their electives. All students will take a 3-unit elective during the Spring, at least one 3-unit elective (online) in Summer, and a 1.5 unit elective in their final semester. For Option 1, students take a 3-unit elective during their first semester, while in Option 2, students take 2 online electives in Summer.
