What surprised you most about Marshall?
I was pleasantly surprised with how supportive my classmates have been in wanting to help each other learn and succeed. Everyone wants to see each other do well and is invested in our Marshall community.
What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I knew that everyone was coming to business school with a different story and that there was power in each individual narrative. I felt like I had to become a certain version of myself to be successful, but I've found confidence in remaining authentic to what I am interested in as a way to best achieve my future career goals.
What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
Co-Director of Marshall Ambassadors, Brittingham Society and Business Fellow, AVP of Graduate Marketing Association, AVP of Net Impact, Graduate Women in Business Survey Task Force, Case Competition Finalist
Favorite USC Marshall Experience:
I loved the International Mixer where all of our classmates from different countries were able to share their cultures and food. It was such a blast being able to taste dishes from all over the world and talk more in-depth to my peers about where they are from.
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Strategy with Professor Fiss
Which clubs are you involved in?
Graduate Marketing Association, Net Impact, Graduate Women in Business
Why did you choose Marshall?
I was really excited about building an extended network in LA. All of the Marshall students and alumni that I reached out to during my application process were so willing to jump on a phone call and speak candidly about their experience. I really felt supported as a prospective student and felt that the Trojan network was a real thing. I have continued to experience that sense of community during my internship recruitment process with Trojans responding quickly and eager to help out even with their busy schedules.
