What surprised you most about Marshall?
What surprised me most about Marshall was how real the Trojan network really is. I've never met students and alum alike who are so willing to help you, regardless of whether the favor is big or small. I had my doubts coming in, but I've discovered that the USC spirit is real. Fight on!

What do you wish you'd known before attending business school?
I wish I had known that recruiting really hits the ground running, and you always think you have more time than you really do. I would have spent more time building essential skills even before I started school. Even once I started school, I would have taken more opportunities to use my free time towards networking or building my resume.

What leadership positions do you hold at Marshall?
I got pretty involved pretty quickly—something I love about business school. I'm an AVP of the High Tech Association and of Challege 4 Charity. I'm also part of the Marshall Leadership Fellows Program. (And an ambassador, obviously.)

Favorite USC Marshall Experience:
My favorite USC Marshall experience has been the C4C Junior Achievement events, where we get to work with students in under-served school districts by teaching them financial literacy and college/work readiness. I come from an education background, so it was super fun to be back in the classroom! As an added bonus, highly involved volunteers got to attend the Junior Achievement Gala.

Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Managerial Statistics (as a former English major, this was a total surprise to me)

Which clubs are you involved in?
I'm an official member of so many clubs on campus, but I'm really only involved in the High Tech Association, Marshall Data Analytics, Graduate Women in Business, and Challenge 4 Charity.

Core:
A

Why did you choose Marshall?
I chose Marshall because I wanted to work in technology. Staying in California, in close proximity to the Bay Area, was important to me. Further, all of my experiences speaking with the ambassadors team was so positive, that I knew I'd have a great time.
