The Graduate Certificate in Management Studies (G.C.M.S.) is designed to provide those who have completed the equivalent of the first year of an accredited traditional 2-year M.B.A. at another university (see the FAQ page for details) with an opportunity to pursue further studies at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. The program is also especially valuable for those who completed a one-year M.B.A. program and wish to enhance their knowledge in a specialized area of business.
Individuals who will not complete the equivalent of required MBA coursework prior to matriculation at USC should consider Marshall's MBA programs.
This program allows students to select from a wide variety of masters/graduate-level courses offered to students in Marshall’s M.B.A. and M.S. programs. Information about the areas of concentration offered to Marshall graduate students is available in the Marshall Graduate Elective Course Guide.
Classes applicable to the certificate are offered during both daytime and evening hours. The degree may be completed on either a full- or part-time basis.
