Hiring for Spring 2023 PALs

The Marshall Office of Undergraduate Advising & Student Affairs is seeking students to serve as Marshall Peer Academic Leaders (PALs) for the Spring 2023 semester. Peer Academic Leaders help students enhance their understanding of course concepts and improve their academic performance through weekly Core Review Sessions. PALs work between 2-5 hours per week depending on the subject; compensation is $16.04 per hour.  

We currently have positions available for ECON 351, ECON 352, BUAD 306, BUAD 308 & BUAD 310

2. Spring 2023 Course Schedule (email to academics@marshall.usc.edu)

*We will be reaching out to faculty for recommendations

Candidates will be notified of their application status via USC email. Invited candidates will be asked to do an interview through Zoom during the week of November 28th.

 

Meet the Peer Academic Leaders and Student Interns

Marshall Peer Academic Leaders (PALs) are academic student leaders and mentors. They help students enhance their mastery and understanding of course concepts, clarify course content, and help students improve their academic performance. PALs demonstrate a mastery of the subject material and can present a model of thinking about, organizing, and understanding course content.
