BCA Cinematic Building and StudentsAbout

The Business Cinematic Arts joint program at USC consists of courses offered by both the Marshall School of Business and the School of Cinematic Arts. Students successfully completing the program receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Cinematic Arts. This is a highly competitive program with only 50 available seats per year, and students who graduate from this joint-program are well-equipped to apply their skills to many different areas of both business and cinema professions.

This undergraduate program offers a unique coupling of the School of Cinematic Arts and the Marshall School of Business in a 4 year joint program. In addition to the Marshall School of Business core classes, BCA students will also take a total of 24 units from the Cinema School. In addition to two lower-division courses which cover the history of cinema and television, they include specialized business/entertainment topics such as entertainment marketing, agenting, broadcast management, game design, and an internship course. Upon completion of all requirements, students will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Cinematic Arts. Both the School of Cinematic Arts and the Marshall School of Business are committed to continuing the excellence that has made us world-class leaders in our respective fields.
