What Made You Choose to Attend USC Marshall?
I chose to attend Marshall because of its powerful presence on campus and all the amazing doors it can help open for me after graduation. Every student at Marshall is a leader and a go-getter, and it is very motivating to be in such an environment.
Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:
I wish I had known how hard it is to accept applicants from the colleges’ point of view. Almost every applicant has something unique to offer, but it is those few with exemplary leadership abilities (in addition to outstanding academics) that Marshall is looking for.
USC activities/general hobbies:
I love to organize events for the Marshall student government, which I am a Vice President of, and attend USC football games and concerts. In my free time, I like to bake, write stories for fun, watch movies, and dine at cute cafes with friends.
Why do you love Los Angeles?
Los Angeles has everything I could possibly need – the beach, great shopping malls, famous restaurants, and amazing cultural spots! It is a bustling city that still has its quaint areas and relaxing moments.
Share a definitive freshman moment at USC:A definitive moment for me was move-in day freshman year. The moment I waved good-bye to my family and went off to explore my dorm, I realized that I was independent for the first time and had just taken my first step into adulthood!
Favorite USC Marshall class:
The Global Leadership Program – we got to visit Shanghai during spring break!
