What Made You Choose to Attend USC Marshall?

I chose to attend USC because Marshall’s commitment to providing its students with a wealth of opportunities for professional and personal development is unrivaled among undergraduate business schools.

Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:

College ranking systems are many and varied, but few are objective. Rankings that compare schools along a single dimension are more useful than those that attempt to derive an all-inclusive score from multiple, often arbitrarily weighted factors.

USC activities/general hobbies:

On campus, I am involved with Marshall Business Student Government, Los Angeles Community Impact, Conquest Capital Ventures, and the Thematic Option alternative general education program. My interests include cars, photography, and urban design.

Why do you love Los Angeles?

The city’s rich history, cultural diversity, and status as one of the entertainment capitals of the world translate to unending opportunities for exploration.

Share a definitive freshman moment at USC:

A defining moment of my freshman year was traveling to Shanghai and Beijing during spring break with the Global Leadership Program. It was in China that I realized just how lucky I am to be attending USC. Nowhere else would I have had the opportunity to take a class taught by the dean of the business school and travel across the world with my friends to see concepts from class at work.

Favorite USC Marshall class:

ECON 352: Macroeconomics for Business. Professor Joines’s wealth of knowledge and experience made for engaging lectures and discussions.
