What Made You Choose to Attend USC Marshall?

I chose to attend USC Marshall because of the unique opportunities it presents via its engaging curriculum, strong community, diverse culture, emphasis on globalization, Trojan network, and unparalleled school spirit.

Advice you wish you had known while applying to college:

Both before and during the application process, it is so important to reach out to current students in order to find out about their experiences, have your questions answered, learn more about the school’s culture, and discover new initiatives or programs that may be of interest to you or that you can include in your application.

USC activities/general hobbies:

Marshall Student Ambassadors, USC Golf Club (Fundraising Chair), Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Italian Club, Intramural Soccer

Why do you love Los Angeles?

Los Angeles has a vibrant culture and is a great place to explore a variety of interests including art, music, sports, business, and dining. The location is perfect…beach, mountains, and desert in close proximity. Also, coming from New York, I love Southern California weather!

Favorite USC Marshall class:

My favorite USC Marshall class has been FBE 428: Principles of Employment Law. Professor Fields makes employment and business law content interesting and practical through engaging lectures and readings. He gives us great insight by highlighting the course material with relevant Wall Street Journal articles and personal anecdotes.

What internship/employment opportunities have you taken advantage of at Marshall?

Marshall has afforded me many internship opportunities in my field of study. I’ve been able to intern at a New York City Hedge Fund where I was exposed to the intricacies of many financial tools and operations. Additionally, in past summers, I was able to intern and get valuable exposure in the fields of logistics and global supply chains.
