Consulting
Why did you choose Marshall?
PRIME and the Trojan Network.
What surprised you the most about Marshall?
Don't worry about grades! You're here to network, meet friends for life and secure a job that will set you up for a long and fulfilling career. Stressing about grades will get in the way of this. Learn as much as you can and make sure you can apply it in a real-world situation, but don't freak out if you can't calculate WACC on demand. Just remember, everybody graduates!
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Competitive Strategy has been my favorite class so far, as you get the opportunity to analyze real-world business problems through various cases and apply what you have learned in interactive class discussions.
Favorite USC Marshall experience:
Definitely the tailgates and Challenge for Charity (C4C) parties. It's a great way to network and really get to know your classmates outside of an academic setting.
What you wish you knew before attending business school?
It's significantly more intense than I expected. You will hit the ground running starting with the first day of Orientation and before you know it the first term will be over. Definitely frontload on sleep!
