What was your previous industry/occupation?
Law (Corporate)
What industry do you plan on entering?
Marketing
Why did you choose Marshall?
Marshall was my top choice because I wanted to focus on marketing and stay in Southern California. Most significantly though, I had heard amazing things about the Trojan network and the extreme willingness of others to help others achieve success.
What surprised you the most about Marshall?
The condensed core classes are more intense than I expected and can be challenging at times. But it offers such an advantage over other business schools when it comes to recruiting. Also, it is a bonding experience among your classmates.
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Contemporary Issues in Competitive Strategy and Marketing.
Favorite USC Marshall experience:
Tailgates and football games! The spirit at USC is overwhelming and just so much fun.
What you wish you knew before attending business school?
I wish I had taken more time off before starting school. While school is a nice break from the "real world" of working, it is still extremely busy!
