The accelerated core, the strong sense of community, Trojan network, the encouraging classroom atmosphere, the diversity of classmates
What surprised you the most about Marshall?
The intensity of the first semester. I expected things to be challenging, but the pace was definitely a shock. Also how helpful classmates are. People really want everyone to succeed.
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
I really enjoyed strategy. It was fun to analyze the different companies and figure out what they could do to improve and how they should do it.
Favorite USC Marshall experience:
Tough to choose one specific experience. Meeting fantastic people, challenging myself academically, and experiencing the social side of the MBA have all been great.
What you wish you knew before attending business school?
To take some time to prepare for business classes as well as take some time to just relax. Things pick up to full speed very quickly.
