What was your previous industry/occupation?
Hospitality (Restaurant) / Operations
What industry do you plan on entering?
Hospitality / Strategy or Consulting
Why did you choose Marshall?
I felt strongly that the culture of Marshall and USC in general were a good fit for my long-term goals and me. I have carefully worked on my own personal network over the years, and having an opportunity to both contribute and tap into the Trojan network was too good to pass up.
What surprised you the most about Marshall?
The intensity of the academics in the first semester. The pace has been challenging.
Favorite USC Marshall Core Class:
Corporate Finance with Professor Westerfield.
Favorite USC Marshall experience:
The whole experience. I can't pick out one in particular. I've enjoyed everything about it.
What you wish you knew before attending business school?
The prioritizing of job search versus academics. As important as academics are, I wish I had utilized the first few weeks more effectively for my job search.
Which clubs are you involved in?
