Wooin Park, MAcc
I was born in Seoul and have spent most of my life there--yet, I have grown a global mindset through numerous opportunities to travel overseas and through my study-abroad experience at a business school in Paris. Upon completion of my undergraduate studies, I decided to pursue in-depth knowledge in Accounting, and applied to USC's Leventhal School of Accounting. While I was standing on a crossroad of different career paths, the mere idea of attending one of the world's top Accounting schools excited me and made me aim for Leventhal's MAcc program. Additionally, reputation of the Trojan Family and the diversity of its components intrigued me, and I wanted to become one of the honorable members of the global network. Attending the Summer Intensive Program, I was able to cultivate friendly relationships with classmates from diverse backgrounds, many of whom will be my life-long friends. Also, through the summer program, I built a strong foundation in Accounting knowledge that provided me both the ability and confidence to compete with students with Accounting backgrounds. Furthermore, the faculty sincerely helps the students in terms of recruiting; professional development classes, company information sessions, and numerous recruiting events are offered to students. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding the transition to the MAcc program. Fight on!
