After obtaining my undergraduate degree with a minor in Accounting, I worked in Corporate Banking and found that my knowledge of accounting set me apart. It was the key in learning about business processes and financial statements, which enabled me to form good relationships with my clients. I decided to enroll in the Master of Accounting program to further enhance my knowledge of accounting. The structured recruitment program, case-based curriculum, and location were the biggest factors in choosing USC. The weather here is unbelievable and Los Angeles has a great laid back vibe for a big city. The program is built around teamwork and it gives an opportunity to work closely with very talented classmates. There is a strong school spirit which can be witnessed on game days. I would recommend that international students apply to the program and get the diverse experience. If you have any questions especially regarding applying and transitioning to college and the city, please feel free to contact me.
