Rebecca Hu, MAcc
Although I studied sociology as an undergraduate, I discovered a love for accounting during an internship in the accounting department of a technology firm. This passion drove me to take several accounting classes during the year after my graduation in preparation for a Master of Accounting. During my year off, I also decided to cross several items off my bucket list such as running the Nike Women’s Marathon (26.2 miles), becoming a Yelp Elite, and coaching youth sports. I chose to attend the USC MAcc program primarily because of its engaging and supportive culture. The students are fantastic hard-working individuals, and the faculty and staff genuinely care about helping you succeed in your future endeavors. The most eye-opening thing that the MAcc program has taught me is that accounting is more than just journal entries – it requires keen perception and judgment. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
