Ji Su Jang, MAcc
Born and raised in Seoul, I did my undergrad at Waseda University in Tokyo and completed a one year exchange at Georgetown University where I took my one and only accounting class that triggered my interest in accounting. I chose USC because of its prominent Leventhal School, diverse atmosphere in Los Angeles, and strong alumni network. Once here, I was extremely impressed by the USC MAcc program and in particular, how the summer intensive program was so considerate of the non-accounting majors and international students. All the information sessions regarding resumes, cover letters, and interviews were really useful for recruiting and future success. This one-year experience is filled with high-quality education, systematic recruiting support and most importantly, lifetime friendships. Through my personal experience, I highly recommend that all students from Korea or Japan who are eager to be exposed to an in-depth accounting environment, and want to start off their career as public accountant in Los Angeles come to USC. I would be more than happy to talk to you if you have any questions.
