I was born and raised in Oakland, CA, then moved to Los Angeles to attend undergrad. Before attending USC’s MAcc program, I majored in ethnomusicology-the anthropological study of world ethnic music. At that time, I was also part of a Co-Ed Professional Business fraternity, which gave me initial exposure to accounting. I subsequently took some accounting courses, and enjoyed learning about the language of business, along with cultivating the desire to understand the overall operations of organizations. With renowned Leventhal faculty and graduate courses arranged through a case study approach, I get to challenge my critical thinking, acquire technical knowledge and improve my business acumen, all essential towards preparing for the real crazy world. Please contact me if you have any questions! I am more than happy to chat!
