Jesse Gardner, MBT
For undergraduate, I only visited Virginia Tech and only I applied to Virginia Tech, I have been a Hokie for life! However, I enjoyed searching for and applying for other graduate programs, and in the end USC was the best decision. I decided to become an accounting major after my first Principals of Accounting class as an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech. This past summer I had a Financial Services Audit internship with Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York City. It was a great experience as I was always on the fence between audit and tax. Through networking with both functions, I decided that I would pursue a full time position in taxation, and changed my program of study from Macc to MBT before fall classes began. If any prospective students are confused about which career to take or program to study, feel free to contact me as I now have experience with both!
