I first became interested in accounting my sophomore year when I took my first accounting class. Unfortunately, my school only offered two accounting courses, so I decided to pursue a graduate degree in accounting. While I had a difficult time choosing which school to attend, I am confident that I made the right decision in the end. USC has its own school of accounting, and as a result, there is a close sense of community. The Leventhal School of Accounting also provides a unique opportunity for students with non-accounting backgrounds to participate in the Summer Intensive program, which provides the accounting knowledge necessary to succeed in the program. Although Summer Intensive was tough, it was definitely rewarding as I learned a lot and made many close friends. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring Los Angeles, watching movies, and trying out new food. If you have any questions about the Summer Intensive program, being a USC student, or choosing which program to attend, feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to share my experience with you. Fight On!
