I was a sophomore in college when I took my first accounting class. From then on, I knew that I wanted to pursue accounting as a career. My school did not offer an accounting major so I decided to complete my degree in business and find a different path to the profession. Conveniently, I found out that the Leventhal School of Accounting at USC offers the Summer Intensive program, which allows students without accounting degrees to take all of the classes necessary to suceed in the fast paced Master’s of Accounting Program. The intensive was tough, but the friends and professionals that I have met not only made the program easier, but also made the experience fun! I’m learning an incredible amount about the world of accounting while having the time of my life. When I’m not in the classroom or in a group meeting, I am playing guitar or taking dance classes here in Los Angeles. If anyone has any questions regarding this program or wants a tour around the campus, please contact me and we will make it happen!
