Paying It Forward
Christopher Cabrera (right), USC Marshall Partners Bay Area Chairman and President & CEO, Xactly Corporation, thanks John Mozart for opening his private museum for the Bay Area Marshall Partners Signature Event. The event was held in support of the USC Marshall School of Business Dean’s Exploratory Fund. The fund enables Dean James G. Ellis to fund innovation at the school through discretionary spending on student and faculty needs.
Making It Personal
Christopher Cabrera pays it forward in support of Marshall students. To kick the gathering off, he shares his story of struggling to get through Marshall School of Business on scholarships and a work study program. As a successful entrepreneur who now runs a global business, he rallies event attendees to join Marshall Partners in its effort to ensure that all Marshall Business School students may participate in global travel opportunities as part of their education. No Trojan left behind.
Touring the Collection
John Mozart's love affair with cars was seeded early in life by his father who came from humble beginnings to own one of the country’s first Porsche dealerships, Mozart Porsche/VW, in Palo Alto. As a successful Silicon Valley real estate developer, he had the vision and the know-how to build an architecturally significant museum building. The magically translucent structure with black granite floors houses the majority of his 100-car collection. On this night, the intensely private Mr. Mozart shared the amazing stories of the noteworthy cars in his museum.
Italian Beauty
Marshall Partners group marvels at the legendary 1937 Alpha Romeo 8C2900. This Italian masterwork has won recognition in some of the world’s finest car shows, including the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance.

It's a Beautiful Thing
A great night was had by all. Networking was robust—new business relationships were struck. And, new members joined Marshall Partners thereby increasing the ability of the Dean’s Exploratory Fund to support students and faculty at the school. Thank you, Mr. Mozart.
