New CTM Executive Director Announced
Alcatel-Lucent VP Jerry Power will take Reins of CTM

Following an extensive national search, Jerry Power has been named executive director of the USC Marshall Center for Technology Management (CTM).

Power, currently vice president of global strategic marketing at Alcatel-Lucent, brings a wealth of knowledge, including previous experience with CTM, to his new leadership role.

Last February, Power served as the Center’s keynote speaker for the Digital Summit event themed “Transforming Business Emerging Technology & the Enterprise.” Results of the research he presented were published in Transforming Business: Big Data, Mobility, and Globalization, which Power co-authored.

The recipient of several awards from the American Marketing Association, including the 2013 Marketer of the Year Award for his work in market research, Power has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including Alcatel-Lucent, Rockwell, Siemens and Motorola.

CTM Board Co-chair Deborah Bothun said, "I am personally extremely pleased that Jerry has decided to join the CTM management team, and look forward to 2014 as a year of development and growth in the depth of our support to our stakeholders."
