The Marshall School of Business was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as the top MBA program in Los Angeles County in 2012. The award was presented at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and received by Vice Dean Shantanu Dutta on March 29.

Also in attendance to represent the Marshall MBA.PM program were Academic Director Arif Ansari and Assistant Dean Diane Badame. The MBA.PM program is a part time MBA program for students who wish to remain fully employed while pursuing their graduate studies. Several other current MBA.PM students also attended.

"It was truly an honor to represent Marshall and the MBA.PM program in accepting the LABJ's award for Best Business School in Los Angeles," says MBA.PM student Stanley Fu ‘12. "I've always known that to be the fact and I'm sure fellow Trojans share the same sentiment. It's reaffirming to know that the business community in Los Angeles also shares our belief."

Other Marshall alumni were also in attendance, representing their respective companies and showing the impact of Marshall in the local business community. Michael Lynn, MBA.PM ‘11 represented Merrill Lynch; Sandra Ko, MBA.PM ‘11 represented United Way.

This is the seventh time USC Marshall has been honored with this award.
