Forbes ran a column by Professor Chen about Mitt Romney’s declaration that he would label China a currency manipulator on his first day in the White House. “Labeling China as a currency manipulator is counterproductive,” Chen wrote. “China is likely to retaliate. If that happens, it will hurt America as much as it hurts China.”
