Budding entrepreneurs representing a cross-section of the University were awarded more than $50,000 to help launch new businesses ranging in purpose from online games to helping the handicapped. This was part of the sixth-annual New Venture Seed Competition sponsored by Marshall's Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.

Taquitos, Empanadas, Sambousek, Taro Cakes, Baklavah and Akara Fried Bean Cakes were just some of the menu items at Marshall's bi-annual International Mixer held earlier this month.
The Leventhal School of Accounting's graduate team took third place in the 2010 Deloitte Tax Case Study Competition, winning a $2,500 prize for the School, individual awards, and friendship on the way. The third place spot is the highest position ever achieved by Leventhal in the annual competition.
