IBCP Faculty & Contact
Marina Kotsianas is the Director of International Business Consulting Projects. She brings to the program a wealth of knowledge and skills as a result of her career as a strategy consultant, technology entrepreneur and corporate executive. She has over 25 years of successful experience in global business-building, innovative competitive strategy and execution in industries ranging from Technology to Retail, Food/Agribusiness, Aerospace/Automotive, Media and others.
She worked as a McKinsey & Co. consultant, as well as the consulting manager for Roll International’s internal strategy group. She currently runs a consulting practice focusing on Growth Strategies.
As an entrepreneur, Marina founded and ran a successful, Venture-Capital-funded e-procurement and supply-chain management company. She raised over $30 million of venture capital and grew the company globally. She was awarded the “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2000 by the Southern California Software Council, and featured in numerous industry publications, including cover stories.
Marina’s early career was as a software engineer and manager in the Aerospace and Automotive Industries in the U.S. and Europe. She holds a B.S. in Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, a M.S. in Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as the international MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business’ IBEAR program, all top of class.
