Sean Coary is a Ph.D. candidate in marketing studying consumer behavior. His research interests center around branding with a focus on brand authenticity, brand synergy and brand extensions. Sean's dissertation examines the impact of "authenticity" on brands and its role in marketing by distinguishing the concept of authenticity from its antecedent variables and identifying key moderators and mediators of the process. Prior to his studies at USC, Sean worked in a sales and consulting role for a global industrial firm.
