Overview

Rakesh Niraj's research interests are in quantitative modeling of marketing phenomena, especially focusing on retailing and distribution channels, CRM and modeling consumer choice. He uses analytical and econometric methods in his research. His research has been published in the Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science and others. He has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Marketing. His Journal of Marketing paper on customer profitability in a supply chain received the MSI/Paul Root award for best paper in 2001.
