Yuri Loktionov's research interests are in capital markets with a focus on financial distress and bankruptcy, information quality, and market efficiency. His recent research investigates the effects of the quality of financial information on companies' risk profiles. Professor Loktionov is a recipient of the MIT Presidential Award and the Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Fellowship Award. At USC, he teaches financial statement analysis in the MBA, MAcc, and MBT programs.
