Derek Harmon is a PhD student in the department of Management and Organizations (Organizational Behavior) at the Marshall School of Business. Before joining the department, he worked in Minneapolis for a public accounting firm, Ernst & Young. His focus was in the financial services industry, auditing mutual funds and hedge funds. His research interests involve understanding how business and philosophy interact at the personal and interpersonal levels. He is particularly interested in morality, personal values, and trust.
