Courtney Paulson is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Data Sciences and Operations (Statistics). Her research interests include optimization algorithms, high-dimensional statistics, and statistical applications to other fields, such as operations, marketing, and systems engineering. Currently she is working with professors Gareth James and Lan Luo (Department of Marketing) on problems of optimizing media selection and allocation, primarily for Internet advertising, and with Professor Azad Madni in the Viterbi School of Engineering on problems of learning curve optimization.
