Chrislynn Freed's interests include financial accounting and auditing. Professor Freed received the Golden Apple Award in 2010 and 2012, USC Mellon Awards for mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in 2009 and 2008, USC Parents Association Teaching and Mentoring Award in 2008, and the Faculty Appreciation award from the Office of International Services in 2007. Professor Freed's activities include co-chairing the Accounting Education Committee of CalCPA, serving on USC's Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures, and on the advisory board of Florida's Fisher School of Accounting. Prior to joining USC she was a senior manager in an international CPA firm.
