Andrea Hollingshead is an expert on collective intelligence and group decision making. Her work has appeared in top journals in the fields of management, social psychology and communication. She is the author of Groups Interacting with Technology (1994, with Joseph E. McGrath), Theories of Small Groups: Interdisciplinary Perspectives (2005, with Marshall Scott Poole), and Research Methods for Studying Groups: A Behind-the-Scenes Guide (forthcoming, with Marshall Scott Poole.) Professor Hollingshead is co-director of the USC Annenberg Program on Online Communities.
