LES Foundation Business Plan Competition

Large IP venture competition. Open to graduate and Ph.D students. Prizes up to $10,000.

Entry Deadline: September 30, 2013 to receive Business Mentor; January 3, 2014 to submit business plan.

CEO National Elevator Pitch Competition

The National Elevator Pitch Competition is the largest national elevator pitch competition. Students will present their business “within the time that it would take me to ride up an elevator” to a panel of judges. Hundreds compete and the first place prize is $3,500. Participants also receive national exposure with allows them to gain new customers, partners, and investors in their businesses.

Elevator Competition

Cash prizes in excess of $40,000 (and only 20 participating teams), CEO’s from several major retailers, great networking opportunities, and a wonderful experience in Winston-Salem. Kindly have one or more teams submit their intent to compete. They can back fill later with their full submission. Remember, this is not a business plan competition, rather an opportunity to express an innovative concept surrounding how to “enhance the lives of seniors.” – something that is of great interest to a number of us.

Self-proclaimed “world’s richest and largest” graduate-level business plan competition, the Rice Business Plan Competition is hosted by Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship. Open to graduate students enrolled in degree program. Prizes available surpassing $1,000,000.

A competition for start-ups from California and Baja California’s four-year universities. This competition provides students an opportunity to pitch their start-up to potential investors and compete for awards. Empact Showcase

Empact Showcase is a platform highlighting the power of young entrepreneurs and the important role that they play in solving some of the world's most pressing issues. Application to be added to platform is open to teams where all founders are under the age of 35 as of August, 2013 & business had 2012 revenue greater than $100,000
