The judging process

54 candidate teams listing over 120 team members submitted on-line applications. Most candidate teams then attended two or more intensive workshops hosted by over 20 members of Tech Coast Angels, Pasadena Angels, The Entrepreneurs' Organization and the Lloyd Greif Center. In these sessions, candidate teams worked shoulder-to-shoulder with experts to refine their business concepts and pitches.

Pitch Night, April 1st, 50 teams pitched their businesses to a panel of at least three judges for review. 15 judges from Tech Coast Angels, Pasadena Angels, IdeaLab and The Entrepreneurs’ Organization selected 13 candidate teams to pitch their business on Finals Night, April 28th.
