Marcelino Ford is the General Manager of Advanced Advertising Development for Intel's Digital Home Group. He leads the team charged with developing business strategies and scalable advertising-related technologies for Internet-connected consumer electronics (CE) devices powered by Intel’s CE technology. Before Intel, Marcelino was a senior member of the corporate development group at Gemstar - TV Guide, where he was responsible for identifying, evaluating and negotiating cross-platform partnerships and acquisitions in areas including: CE, cable and online programming, TV and movie metadata, video search and interactive program guides. Prior to TV Guide, Marcelino worked at the FCC as Special Counsel for New Media Policy for former Chairman William Kennard, and as a Senior Counsel and Media Analyst during Michael Powell’s tenure as Chairman.

Marcelino currently serves as the secretary to the board of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which is the organization that awards the Primetime Emmy® for outstanding achievement in primetime television. He also sits on the boards of TRA Global and LA 36. He is the division chairman of the interactive media and new technologies division for the American Bar Association’s forum on the entertainment and sports industries. Marcelino holds J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Illinois and a B.A. from UC San Diego. He has also completed an Executive MBA leadership program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
