Liz Huszarik
Executive Vice President Media Research & InsightsCompany:Warner Bros.Elizabeth Huszarik was named Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Media Research & Insights in August 2011. In this post she serves as the co-head of one of the industry’s premiere media research operations. As EVP, “Liz” oversees the daily operation and supervision of Warner Bros.’research team. Her areas of responsibility include Domestic TV Distribution, Digital Business Development & Sales Research as well as sharing oversight of Warner Bros. Studios’ state-of-the-art, in-house Media Lab – a traditional focus group facility and emerging technology consumer testing center.
Ms. Huszarik also has “hands on” responsibility in key Financial and Revenue Analysis and Media Sales activities of the department. During her tenure at Warner Bros., she has held all positions from Manager to her most recent role as Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Liz worked in the Research Department at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles, the Sales Department at KEYT in Santa Barbara and in the Research & Programming Department at the station rep firm, TeleRep, Inc. in New York City.
Liz received a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan. For the past twelve years, Liz has taught a course on Research and Programming at California State University, Northridge and has also taught courses on the same subject matter for the acclaimed UCLA Extension Program. From her teaching experience, Liz has identified and hired numerous students who have taken internships and full-time research positions at Warner Bros. and other media companies throughout the industry. Ms. Huszarik is actively involved with the CTAM and ProMAx Research Committees as well as appearing on panels for the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) at the annual NAB Convention.
Liz is a 22 year veteran of Warner Bros., joining the studio in April 1990.
