Israel Z. Kotton
Issy Kotton has over 35 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and consulting, with an emphasis on SEC rules, regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and filings. His practice focuses on clients in technology, retail and consumer products, manufacturing and distribution.
Clients rely on Issy as a trusted business advisor on a wide range of financial matters, including daily operations, acquisitions, and going public decisions. He has assisted numerous clients with LBOs, IPOs and private placements, mergers and acquisitions, financial issues, and structuring the integration of acquired businesses.
Originally a Chartered Accountant with Main Hurdman in South Africa, Issy joined BDO in 1979 where he served as Los Angeles Liaison Partner for non-US companies with inbound transactions, Regional Financial Services Director, Managing Director – BDO Southern California, Alternative Distribution Channel Partner, Currently serves as one of the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Practice leaders in Southern California.
