David H. Hannah is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., a New York Stock Exchange, Fortune 500 company based in Los Angeles, California.

David joined Reliance in 1981 as chief financial officer, and has also held the positions of president, executive vice president, vice president, and division manager. Prior to joining the Company, David, who is also a certified public accountant, held various professional staff positions with Ernst & Whinney, a predecessor firm to Ernst & Young LLP.

David was named the 1998 Metal Center News Service Center Executive of the Year and also received the 1998 Distinguished Alumnus award from the USC Leventhal School of Accounting. David is an officer and member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Metals Service Center Institute.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, David graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Southern California in 1973. David and his wife, Brady, reside in La Canada Flintridge, California.
