Brian Angiolet
Vice President of Marketing Communications for Verizon WirelessCompany:Verizon WirelessBrian Angiolet is Vice President of Marketing Communications for Verizon Wireless. He is responsible for advertising, media planning and buying, retail merchandising, CRM, promotional planning, sponsorships and go to market functions. This includes brand management and oversight for Verizon Communications as a whole.
Prior to his current assignment, Brian served as Vice President of Consumer Product Strategy and Marketing for Verizon’s Telecom business. In this position he was responsible for product, pricing and packaging to deliver long term growth and profitability. He led innovation for FiOS broadband and entertainment products, the content strategy and advertising monetization model, and the development of Redbox Instant, the joint venture between Redbox and Verizon to bring content, over-the-top and nationwide.
In previous assignments, Angiolet held VP Marketing and Sales positions for several of the companies operating areas overseeing all aspects of Marketing, Sales and Training in an effort to build Verizon's reputation within the community, growing share in key competitive markets and retaining customers.
Since joining Verizon in 1999, he has advanced through numerous leadership positions within the company, including responsibility for the product positioning, marketing launch and rapid market share gains for the FiOS initative.
Brian began his career at J. Walter Thompson Advertising and holds a Bachelors degree in Advertising Communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
