David Logan

David Logan is Associate Dean and Executive Director of Executive Development, and Associate Professor of Clinical, at USC’s Marshall School of Business. He teaches in the Marshall MBA, the Master of Medical Management, and in Executive Development programs.

David is an expert in the practice of understanding and impacting people's communication within a company as part of a large-scale organizational change effort. He is also a frequent keynote speaker and workshop leader on the topics of emerging patterns of corporate leadership, organizational transformation, generational differences in the workplace, and team building for high-potential managers and executives.

Prior to becoming Associate Dean, David served as CEO of JLS Consulting Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in cultural change, executive coaching, and strategy. JLS's clients include Amgen, Intel, American Express, Southern California Edison, and Health Net. Through an alliance with Career Systems International, David (through JLS) has also designed major training interventions, including Philip Morris and Southern Company.

David's first book, Reinventing Your Career, was published in 1996 and 1997 by Business Week/McGraw-Hill. His second book, The Coaching Revolution (written with John King) was published in 2001 by Adams Media.

He has Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Organizational Communication (emphasizing business process reengineering and cultural transformation) from the Annenberg School at USC.
