Gita Govahi

Ms. Govahi is the Director of Experiential Learning Center at the USC Marshall School of Business. During her tenure, she has inaugurated a number of training programs and conducted numerous training sessions for the School's graduate, undergraduate and executive education programs. As the Director of the Experiential Learning Center, she leads a core group of professional trainers who design and conduct experiential exercises for the Marshall School's constituencies. Gita also directed the Business School's Instructional Services Center for eight years. In this capacity, she facilitated implementation of the state-of-the-art technologies in the Business School classrooms.

Ms. Govahi has special interest in cross-cultural training and has worked as a consultant in this area. Over the past 10 years, Gita has published papers and articles on the topic of Experiential Learning and its application to adult learning. Gita's research interests include, studying the impact of technology on the learning process. She is also interested in examining the role of the Internet and the communication technology in the training process.

Ms. Govahi received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business and her Master of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Science also from USC. A doctoral candidate at Claremont, her area of interest is knowledge management and e-learing.

Brad Shipley

Mr. Shipley is the Training Coordinator for the Experiential Learning Center of the Marshall School of Business at USC. He has provided training services for undergraduate business students, MBA students, working professionals, and executives. Previously, Brad has provided communication consulting services to organizations such as Westinghouse Idaho Nuclear Company and Los Angeles County Medical Association. In addition, Brad has been a Lecturer at Idaho State University and at the Annenberg School of Communication at USC, teaching courses such as Team Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, and Empirical Research Methods. While at Annenberg, Brad was honored with the Outstanding Teaching Award provided by the Annenberg School and named one of USC Gamma Sigma Alpha's professors of the year.

His educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Speech Communication from Idaho State University, a Master of Arts degree in Communication from USC, and is currently a doctoral candidate, studying Organizational Communication at the Annenberg School of Communication. His dissertation topic is Organizational Justice and Stakeholder Relations. Brad has had the opportunity to present original research at regional and international conferences on topics such as virtual teams, organizational justice, and defending one's self against accusations in the media. He has also had an article published in a Communication journal.

Beth Kirlin

Ms. Kirlin is an Associate Trainer for the Experiential Learning Center at the USC Marshall School of Business. She facilitates training exercises for both undergraduate and MBA students. Prior to joining USC, Beth was a Counselor and Advisor at several higher education institutions. She has also been responsible for the coordination of academic programs as well as held adjunct faculty positions in Psychology and Student Success.
Beth received her Master of Science degree in Counseling from the Education and Human Services department at Villanova University. Her undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

Patricio Ginelsa

Mr. Ginelsa is the Technical Coordinator of the Experiential Learning Center at the USC Marshall School of Business. He is responsible for overseeing the operation of the audiovisual equipment in both ELC centers at Popovich Hall and at Bridge Hall. Patricio supervises a core group of ELC technicians that provide videotaping support for Marshall School's classes and programs. He carries a Bachelor's degree in Cinema Production from the USC School of Cinema-Television and has previously worked for Paramount Pictures, Columbia Tri-Star Television, and the Game Show Network.

Brian Nielsen

Mr. Nielsen is the Technical Coordinator of the Experiential Learning Center at the USC Marshall School of Business. He is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the audiovisual equipment in both ELC centers at Popovich Hall and at Bridge Hall. Brian supervises a core group of ELC technicians that provide videotaping support for Marshall School's classes and programs. He carries a Bachelor's degree in Critical Studies from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and has previously worked in the audio-visual department at numerous education based institutions.
