Application deadlines
The first course in the program, GSBA-520, is readily available to anyone holding a bachelor's degree. Ideally, BFNBP applicants should submit a formal application to the program before starting the course. Those who develop an interest in the certificate while taking GSBA-520 should submit a formal application as soon as possible while taking the course. ACCT-509 is also readily available to non-business students.
Because BFNBP students may select their remaining course work from among the electives offered to MBA students, it is suggested that applications be submitted in time to complete processing before early registration for the semester in which the applicant would need to begin taking the remaining courses in the program.
The final deadlines for consideration prior to enrollment in the first course are:
For current USC students and domestic USC alumni these deadlines are very flexible.
Current USC students who decide to apply for admission to the program while or after taking GSBA-520 should do so as soon as possible after making the decision. They should apply for admission in the semester during which they make the decision. Successful completion of coursework required for the certificate prior to application does not guarantee admission.
